  1. Visit Dollywood

Dollywood is a theme park based and has many attractions and rides. It has been around since 1972, when it opened its doors as a family entertainment destination. Today, it has grown into a world-renowned attraction with over 80 rides and attractions including roller coasters, water slides, children’s rides, and live shows.

You can also participate in the annual Dollywood festivals, the Harvest Festival or the Smoky Mountain Christmas. The park is open all year round and offers lots of fun for all ages!

  1. Where do you stay?

Many people visiting Pigeon Forge want to rent an entire house instead of just a room or apartment while they’re there—this is where affordable rentals come into play. Renting a place big enough for the family means you get all the benefits of having someone else take care of everything.

Depending on your budget and other requirements, you can find many accommodation options in Pigeon Forge. We suggest staying close to nature to take in all the views. Also, make sure you book your place before you go out.

  1. Take a Ride on the Big Smoky Mountain Bike

The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is the tallest observation wheel (200 feet) in the Eastern United States, located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It has 36 closed gondolas that can carry up to 8 people each. You will enjoy a spectacular view of this square city if you decide to go on a ride.

  1. Visit the Titanic Museum

The Titanic Museum is a great place to learn about history, especially if you want something to keep your kids entertained. There are many interactive exhibits, a movie theater, and information about the sinking of the Titanic. If you’re not sure what your child wants to do while at Pigeon Forge, this is one place where they can find something fun!

  1. Spend a Day on the Island at Pigeon Forge

If you want to spend a fun day with the kids, look no further. The Island, as it is called, has many rides and attractions, including roller coasters, water parks, and more. There are also many restaurants on site with great food options.

There is a beach within walking distance of the Island if you want to take the kids and soak up the sun. However, if you are not sure about swimming in open waters, we recommend renting a raft.

  1. Visit the Speed Zone Fun Park

Speed Zone Fun Park is the perfect place to spend time in Pigeon Forge. The park features more than 20 rides and attractions, including the famous roller coaster and bumper cars.

The roller coaster is one of its most popular attractions, with riders hurtling up and down hills at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour! Riders can also enjoy bumper cars or mini golf on a course designed for adults (no children allowed). There are also go-carts available for rent if you want.

  1. Visit Clingmans Dome

Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountains and is located just outside of Pigeon Forge. At 6,643 feet above sea level, it’s a beautiful place to experience nature at its best—without being afraid of heights!

Clingmans Dome is home to more than 1,800 flowering plants and more than 100 animals. Several hiking trails lead you through this natural wonder. Take advantage of outdoor activities if you want an adventure to let your senses run wild—possibly with some bruising from the rough terrain.
